Hello! This is your personal invitation to attend our very special pageant, Enchanting Stars Winter National March 13-15th. Enchanting Stars is a sister pageant to Beautiful Me, My Chance, & Hearts and Crowns. Enchanting Stars is our Facial Beauty/Personality Pageant. We are excited about our 2nd Winter National with Enchanting Stars. For the last ten years my family and I have strived to create a pageant that is Honest, Fair, & Organized. Last year, we awarded over $25,000 in cash & prizes at Enchanting Stars National. Every contestant will receive a beautiful crown, gift, and custom plaque. Our national crowns are beautiful & every contestant will take home a beautiful custom crown. Don't miss our Supermodel competition which is not added in for supreme titles. Any contestant can compete at Enchanting Stars, all you need is a pretty face and a great personality. Modeling or Attire is not scored at Enchanting Stars. We have a great weekend planned for everyone. We will be awarding awesome gifts, toys, prizes, cash, custom plaques, custom banners, custom crowns, & much more. VENDORS & DIRECTORS Tables will be provided for your pageant forms & flyers. Vendors of merchandise must contact Angela @ 606-526-9058 in advance. Reservations are required. Tables will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. You can also list your information on our message board @ www.voy.com/22198/ All signs, posters, etc. must be given to national director. No signs, posters, etc will be allowed on hotel walls, doors, or elevators. Any vendor that is attending the pageant please let me know, and I will add you to our vendor's list. We do have vendor space outside of the ballroom. All vendors of merchandise must call Angela @ 606-526-9058 to purchase a table, space is limited. If you are coach, photographer, or h/m vendor be sure to book a room or meeting room ahead of time to set up for your services.

Hotel Information: The host hotel is Ramada Inn Conference Center which is conveniently located in Lexington, KY off I-75 exit 113. The hotel is located close to several restaurants & department stores and also has indoor lounge. Hotel has indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, whirlpool, shuffleboard, putting green, & lighted tennis courts. Hotel has a restaurant on location. Hotel is approximately 10 minutes from the Lexington Bluegrass Airport. Hotel provides free shuttle service from Lexington Bluegrass Airport. The group rate is $79.00 + tax per night. PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATION BEFORE MARCH 1ST AND MENTION YOU ARE WITH ENCHANTING STARS TO RECEIVE DISCOUNTED RATE. For additional information and to reserve a room call 859-299-1261. If you are interested in having a room close to the ballroom you MUST book under the block for Enchanting Stars. All rooms close to ballroom will be given out based on when reservation is made. Hotel will sell out due to local events, please book hotel ASAP.

BEAUTY ATTIRE: Prom Dress, Sunday Best, Flower Girl Dress, Pageant Dress, Tuxedo, or any dressy outfit can be used for Beauty competition. Clothing is not scored in any event at Enchanting Stars. We encourage contestants to wear something they are comfortable in. Scoring for each event will be based on Facial Beauty, Personality, Overall Appearance, & First Impression! MODELING IS NOT SCORED!

Line-up: If contestant likes a certain place in line up, get your deposit in early. We will accommodate your wishes dependent on when your entry form is received. Place in line-up will be determined by the date you enter. The earlier you enter the better chance you have of getting your request.

Deposit: A deposit in the amount of $200.00 must be sent to enter pageant before March 1st. Any deposit amount received through paypal or MO will NOT be refunded for any reason. DO NOT ASK FOR A DEPOSIT REFUND. We do not allow deposits to be used toward our other pageants or to be used by another contestant. If sending deposit through paypal, it must be marked as a SERVICE. Payments not marked as SERVICE will NOT be accepted. If sending a deposit through paypal please send to: enchantingstarsproductions@yahoo.com. E-checks will only be accepted three weeks before deadline. NO EXCEPTIONS! Discounts may not be used as your minimum deposit or credit from another event. Photographer & Video: PHD will be attending for Video and stage shots. Video cameras, camera phones, or flash cameras will NOT be permitted in the ballroom. All winners must have photos made at end of pageant before cash awards are received.

Gift Exchange:Every contestant must bring THREE $5.00-$8.00 wrapped gifts to exchange. Gifts must be turned in at registration. Please make sure gifts are wrapped or in a gift bag with contestants name and age. Director will also purchase gifts for all contestants.

Door Admission: Badges may be purchased at registration for $35.00 each. Badges for children ages 7-12 are $15.00 each. Children 0-6 (FREE). Everyone including vendors must have a badge to enter ballroom. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Badges NOT purchased at registration will be $40.00. Door Badges will be checked when entering ballroom. Director has the right to refuse entry of any contestant or admission to the ballroom of any parent/guest, as this is a private function.

Door Decorating Contest(FREE): Decorate outside of your room door. Contest will not be judged until after 11:00 p.m. on Saturday 03-14-09. If you plan on entering this please let director know at registration. Please do NOT use any product that will damage doors such as nails or tacks. Use tape that can be easily removed. You will be charged for any damage made to the hotel door. Two overall winners will receive a gift. Three alternates will receive a nice gift. Director must know room number to be included in judging. This is free so everyone should try it!!!

Contestant Party: Saturday evening after competition we will be having a party for all contestants that would like to attend. We will play games, have mother and daughter look alike contest, my little doll contest and have drawings for great prizes. Children 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult. All contestants are admitted for free. Additional tickets are $8.00 each and must be paid at registration. Mark how many tickets are needed on entry form.

Poster Contest(FREE) Make your own original poster and bring to the party. Poster can consist of photos, drawings, or artwork. Be creative and make this fun!!! One winner will receive a nice gift! Please decorate poster in a Christmas or Winter Theme.

My Little Doll Contest(FREE) This contest will be judged during pizza party. When you attend the party please bring doll ready for display. Dress up your doll like she is attending a pageant. All dolls will be displayed and judged. Winner will receive a nice gift and crown. Three alternates will receive a nice gift.

Talent(OPTIONAL) Talent will be the last competition on Saturday evening. Talent is optional and is NOT included in discounted package and can be double crowned. Two overall talent winners 0-4 & 5-up will receive a crown, $100.00 Savings Bond, & gift. A winner per division will receive a national award. Talent is $35.00.

Outfit of Choice SWIMWEAR, CASUALWEAR, DENIMWEAR, OR Winter Wear/Christmas Wear. Each outfit of choice is $45.00. A winner in each division will receive a national award. (Can be used if highest optional event) Winter Wear/Christmas Wear included in discounted package.

INTERVIEW (optional not included in discounted package) $35.00 (Can be used if highest optional event) Interview will be a close-up appraisal. Attire will be white skirt or pants with Enchanting Stars T-shirt ($15.00). No decorating of T-shirt. Questions or answers will not be scored during interview. Judges will be looking at Facial Beauty & Personality.

VERY IMPORTANT: ALL Photos must be in a photo protector. Photos protectors will be for sell at registration for $3.00 each. Please have all photos marked with photo event, contestants age, & name when photos are turned in at registration. Please have your photos labeled A, B, C, etc with name and age division. We will have index cards provided outside of registration to label photos. Photos will not be accepted unless they are in a photo protector & Labeled!

Black/White Photogenic: A winner in each division will receive a national award. Black/White can be either natural or glitz. Additional photos can be entered for $25.00 each.

Stage Shot: Bring your best stage shot(s) to the pageant and give to director during registration. A winner in each age division will receive a national award. Extra photos can be entered for $25.00 each.

Natural Photogenic: Headshots or full length photos can be entered. Additional photos can be entered for $25.00 each. Winner in each division will receive a national award.

Glitz Color Photogenic: Bring photo(s) to the pageant and give to director during registration up to 8 ½ X 11 are acceptable. No frames or albums are allowed. Contestant's name and age must appear on the back of photo. A winner in each age division will receive a national award. Extra photos can be entered for $25.00 each.

Portfolio: If entering portfolio please turn in at registration. (B&W or Color) You can enter 5-15 of your favorite photos. Be sure to include a variety of photos which include headshots and full body photos. A winner in each age division will receive a national award.

Me & My Pet: Enter a photo of you and your favorite pet. A winner in each age division will receive a national award. Additional photos can be entered for $25.00 each

Print Model: Print Model is your best portfolio shot, it may be b/w or color. Headshots are NOT acceptable. Print model is an optional event and can be used if higher then other optional events in calculating supreme titles. Additional print model photos can be entered for $25.00 each. A winner in each age division will receive a national award.

Composite: Composite cards are accepted b/w or color. We will award one winner in each age division. Winners will receive a national award. Each additional composite card $25.00 each.

Optional's (Included in Registration Fee) We will award one winner in each division in the following categories: Most Beautiful, Personality, Smile, Best Attire, & Prettiest Hair. Winners will receive national award.

Time Limit (ON STAGE EVENTS, DOES NOT INCLUDE TALENT OR SUPERMODEL) Each contestant will have 1 minute time limit on stage.

SUPERMODEL COMPETITION (OPTIONAL NOT REQUIRED) $50.00 This competition can be double crowned and is not required for any supreme titles. Following pageant competition we will have a supermodel competition. Contestants can compete in Sportswear, Outfit of choice, or Western Wear. We will award a winner per division. We will also award supermodel titles that can be double crowned. We do not have a time limit for this event. Additional outfit is $35.00 each.

SUPERMODEL GRAND SUPREME(CAN BE DOUBLE CROWNED) Winner will receive a custom banner, crown, trophy, & $200.00 Savings Bond.

SUPERMODEL MINI SUPREME (0-4, 5-up)(CAN BE DOUBLE CROWNED) Winners will receive a custom banner, crown, trophy, & $150.00 Savings Bond.

SUPERMODEL STAR(0-4 & 5-up)(CAN BE DOUBLE CROWNED) Winners will receive a custom banner, crown, trophy, & $100.00 Savings Bond.

CROWNING
Crowning will be held Sunday 03-15-09. Contestants must wear (Enchanting Stars T-shirt (all contestants must purchase $15.00 each), with white tennis skirt or denim skirt, white shorts, white pants, or white skirt with white socks, & white shoes. Ribbon is allowed for belts, hairbows, & shoes. Photos will be taken for advertisements and future Enchanting Stars Productions. Please look nice for photos.

General Information
Enchanting Stars is looking for a contestant with a beautiful face & a great personality. We run a fair and honest system, and all contestants will compete on an equal basis. Birth certificate may be needed if age is questioned and is required if contestant is using fallback. Cash or money order for all pageant fees. Checks will not be accepted. All contestants will model in T-formation(3 x's in back, 1 in front). Each contestant will have 1 minute time limit on stage(does not include talent or supermodel competition). No refunds will be given, deposits are not transferable to another pageant or another contestant. If you aren't able to attend Enchanting Stars, Deposit will NOT be refunded for any reason. Anyone showing poor sportsmanship will be disqualified and ask to leave without a refund or awards. Bashing or gossip will not be tolerated. NO EXCEPTIONS! This pageant system expects parents and contestants to use courtesy toward each other and to the staff of the pageant at all times. Judges decisions are Final. Prizes can and will be reduced if not enough contestants enter the pageant. All cash prizes listed are based on 40 or more contestants except for supermodel competition. Score sheets will not be given out at the pageant. You can call 2-4 weeks following pageant and receive scores and comments. Judges decisions are FINAL and are of their opinion of that day. First registered will be last out or your choice. All contestants must be ready to compete on time. All winners must have group and individual photos made before cash awards are received. Savings Bonds may be paid cash equivalent of the bond the day of crowning and bonds can be reduced based on number of contestants. Cash prizes can be awarded in the form of a check payable to the contestant. Do not ask who or how many are in a group, this information will not be given out. This information changes and we don't want to give you inaccurate information. Discounts may not be combined, however you may choose the highest discount you are entitled to. If you are staying at our host hotel please conduct yourselves in the proper manner. Enchanting Stars would like to maintain a good standing with host hotel. Deposits are not allowed to be used by another contestant.

Release: I hereby understand that Enchanting Stars, Angela Smith, Workers, Judges, and hotel, is not responsible for any accident, illness, injury, or stolen/loss of items that may occur before, during, or after the pageant. The pageant is not responsible for acts of God including fire, wind, hail, or any other weather related matter. If the pageant must be canceled due to weather related matters it will be re-scheduled as soon as possible. I agree to act in a positive manner at all Enchanting Stars activities and will maintain good sportsmanship at all times. I also agree that I will be responsible for any money owed to the pageant and its director. I also agree that the judge's decisions are final and bad conduct will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification with awards taken away without a refund. No Refunds will be given or deposits returned once deposit is received! I also understand that awards can be reduced based on number of entries. All age divisions can be combined if less than four contestants participate per age division. Supreme age divisions can be combined if 7 or less contestants are in a supreme group. Returned checks will be charged $55.00! If I am found to have given false information on my Novice status, contestant information, or caught bashing via Internet, phone, or email, I will return all awards to the director and/or paying all court fees/attorney fees should legal action be necessary for slander. By signing this form I relinquish all rights to file claim against Enchanting Stars, Angela Smith, hotel, or pageant workers. I also understand that all prizes or awards can be increased or decreased depending on number of contestants including cash awards. All awards are based on 40 or more contestants except for Supermodel competition which can be pro-rated based on entries. Highpoint Supreme will be based on 40 or more contestants. I also give my permission for Enchanting Stars, & Angela Smith to use any photos or videos for publicity on website and paperwork. I have read and fully understand all of the pageant rules listed above.
