"Encore Fois"

I felt that naming our kennel this was very fitting.
We have been involved in collies for close to 15 years.
"Caer Sidis" was my original kennel.
Unfortunately life threw some difficult and unexpected turns
my way, and regrettably I had to downsize my kennel .
"Caer Sidis" is gaelic for home of the magic.
My inspiration for breeding collies came from the "magic"
bond that developed between myself and a
wonderful tri-coloured boy;
Ch. Spendor's Black Rambo; Sam came to live with
us when my oldest daughter was just a baby.
Although he loved each of us dearly, he attached himself to me.
Sam never sired a litter and as he grew older I dreaded the day that he
would no longer be with me.
Through the generosity of Gail Giles of "Rythm Collies"
I acquired Sam's direct niece;
Ch. Scotchdale Rythm's Rhiannon; Rhia.
And later from Gloria Wilson of "Splendor Collies"
Ch. Splendor's Rapsody in Blue; Rhapsody.
These lovely ladies carried  Sam's lines, but most importantly they
carried that special "magic".
Rhia was bred to an amazing sable boy "Ch. Ennismoor Timeline" owned
by Darlene Allison of Ennismoor Collies and gave my daughter a very special boy;
"CaerSidis' Lil' Gangsta"
When I had to make the difficult decision to find forever homes for some
of my collies, there were some that I could not part with.
These few are the ones who are closest to my Sam..
Rhia, Yippee (Rhapsody's daughter), Creed (Rhapsody's son)
and Clyde (Rhia's son)
As my life began to settle down, I recieved a very special gift.
Darlene Allison of "Ennismoor Collies" entrusted me with a
beautiful sable girl "Ennismoor Fantasy Time"
And so I start anew; but this time my
two daughters, who have grown up surrounded by long noses and
wagging collie tails are joining me in  pursuing the dream
of breeding collies & shelties.
And so life has come full circle.
I named our kennel  "Encore Fois" as a tribute to my Sam.

For "once again" we have returned to the "home of the magic"
