Following my precis on the myriad flaws inherent to most of Christian apologetics, I decided to attack the subject from the opposite direction. Instead of simply pointing out the fallacy of the theories levelled by the religious right, I will now present my own theory to refute the preposterous notions held by the religious right. My own logical proof will show that Omnipotence and Omniscience are inherently contradictory attributes, and thus that no god that exists could possess them.

OMNIPOTENCE

1a) Omnipotence is the ability to do every conceivable thing
2a) If a being that exists can do every conceivable thing, then there is no conceivable thing that it cannot do
3a) Learning is the result of assimilating the method of doing a conceivable thing that a being that exists cannot do
4a) If there is no conceivable thing that a being that exists cannot do, then it cannot learn
5a) The ability to learn is a conceivable thing
6a) If a being that exists cannot learn, then it cannot do every conceivable thing
7a) A being that exists cannot be omnipotent

OMNISCIENCE

1b) Omniscience is the ability to know every conceivable thing
2b) Learning is the result of assimilating a thing previously unknown
3b) A being that is omniscient cannot learn
4b) Knowing how it feels to learn is a conceivable thing
5b) If a being that exists cannot learn, then it cannot know how it feels to learn
6b) A being that exists cannot be omniscient

The inescapable result of these two proofs is the conclusion that, if a god exists, it can be neither omnipotent nor omniscient because it cannot learn.
