Who is Endeavour?

Endeavour is a four piece band based out of Markham that has been making quite a name for themselves over the last three years. The band is comprised of Kevin Ker (Guitar\Vocals), Shawn Royal (Drums), Chris Reed (Guitar\Backing Vocals), Colin Benoit (Bass).Formed in 2001, Endeavour has been wowing audiences all over Ontario, Quebec and into New York state with their critically reknowned "intense, tight, energenitic live show". The songs "Save Me" and "Unnamed" from their debut CD "Mantra" enjoyed regular radio play on numerous radio stations across Canada, and now the fans are poised for the release of their new CD.

The new CD, entitled "Demise", is an intense melodic journey that will take you to a different place on each of the eight tracks. The music can be described as a heavy alternative blend of smart guitar riffs supported by intricate and rhythmic drum beats, solid bass lines and punching guitar solos. Add intense melodic lead vocals that carry the inciteful lyrics and blend them with harmonized backups with poetic license and you have the unique sound Endeavour has worked hard to perfect. Endeavours' sound has been compared to an eclectic mix of Tool, Radiohead and Finger Eleven.

Endeavour is a very hard working band who have shared the stage with well known acts such as Theory of a Deadman, Default, Not By Choice, Three Days Grace and Sector Seven. Endeavour has also been the featured band for Edge 102's Steamwhistle Indie Club playing live from the store front studio on a couple of occasions. The release of "Demise" has the band doing numerous shows throughout the summer leading up to a 21 day tour to the east coast and back in the fall.
