The poem on this page is actually not mine, but rather Joe's. All of my poems are here. I put them on my Notre Dame page and can't figure out how to get them off and back over here. So read Joe's and then go read mine. I put his on here because I love this poem of his and it is so true. I hope he doesn't mind :) . If you have any comments, please email me. | ||||||||||||||

Fine I sometimes like to look at me And I am satisfied with all I find. I have no flaw as far as I can see. Although it seems I'm half divine, When others ask I always try to say That I am neither great nor well but fine. And if it were a miserable day You'd never know by simply walking by Unless I thought that you were one who'd stay And listen past the what to hear the why (Since more than those that care to know will ask, I must craft the right reply.) But if I didn't feel up to the task Because my burdens were too much to bear, The first unlucky soul to pass Would hear me tell so much beyond my share Of life's abundant grief it would seem unfair ~Joey46556 |
