How to Join- Rules and Regulations

Before joining, please take a moment to read through all the rules and regulations. Thank you! To participate in the RPG, you have to e-mail Ender or Yamato. You have to send us the following information: About you:   Name   Age   e-mail addy About your character:   Name   Age (characters in Data don't age... so please don't make them immortal... it's not gonna go over well with me.)   Gender   Magic and/or animal companion and/or mech and/or attack (what they say to activate the attack and what it does) Status: (light,  dark, or unknown... it's explained in about...i think) History (a brief explanation of who your character is and what kind of life they led before coming to Data. If they have an animal companion or a dead friend follows them around I need all this info for them too. Also have a world handy for your character; it's necessary.)   Whether your character is light (wishes to return to their world), dark (does not wish to return to their world) or unknown (they can't decide or don't have an opinion). (Keep in mind that light and dark have nothing to do with good and evil.) (I try to put as few restrictions as I can on characters, so you guys can be creative with them. They can also be gay etc.... and no one will care. If you do care?? Well then you can just find a new RPG... or get used to it.) If your character is accepted I'll send you a password that you can use to get into and post on the story. You're going to need an ezboard membership to do this (Go to www.ezboard.com and you can get a membership there... It's free, so I can't see anyone complaining about this.) You can have a maximum of three (3) characters. (Ghosts don't count as characters, as long as you keep them extremely minor.) You can only have one character from each world. Might sound odd now, but it makes a lot more sense if you read the story. I'm, uhh... rather confused with what I should do about the killing of other people's characters... It's not like some guy who is about to murder you is going to pause and ask "Hey Joe... may I kill you?". So let's try to keep away from the killing thing and hope it all works out in the end. If you have a character... and you're going to leave our lovely RPG... please kill your character (or give it to someone else who knows what to do with it). I know this sounds evil and all but I don't want a character with no player attached... there's nothing to do with 'em!! You have to be at least 15 to join. You have to have an e-mail address (You know, some way that I can contact you if I feel like changing the password and other fun stuff like that) You can't take your character from a show or a book. If you get caught... you're gonna be in a lot of trouble. If you want to send in a pic it has to be anime. If you can't draw anime, or don't know what anime is, send us a regular pic of your character and we can alter it. Or... don't send in a pic at all. If you have to swear... then just swear. I keep a copy of this on my home computer and I don't want to sit here and type out your profanity. No pornography. Lovemaking is all well and good for plot or character development, but please... keep it relevant. Don't use other people's characters. Unless, of course, you have their permission. Yama and Ender do it all the time but we usually type it up together so we can see right away if someone is acting OOC. Before joining, make sure you've read all the explanations and previous postings and whatnot and make sure you understand it so that we don't have continuity problems. If you've read all of the above, and you consent to abide by all the rules, then please proceed.
