A FEW FACTS ABOUT THE ENDOMETRIOSIS SUPPORT BOARD TO ASSIST YOU:
1) The boxes with the word LINK above them are not required fields.
*The box that is labeled 'Optional Link URL' is for your convenience to make links to other webpages that you may want to refer someone to for information on appropriate topics. Just type or paste in the address to the page. You may give that link a title in the box labeled 'Optional Link Title,' or leave that box empty.
* The box labeled 'Optional Image URL' is for inserting the address to a graphic.
One Note: The http:// is already included in the boxes, so be sure you do not end up with that text duplicated if you paste in the link or it won't work. You may test your message by selecting the 'Preview' button before you 'Post' it to see if your post appears the way you intended it to. If not, you may make corrections until you get it the way you want it to appear.
2) Messages are limited to 10,000 characters, about 2,000 words. The subject and name are limited to 100 characters. You will receive an error message if you exceed it. You should be able to hit the back arrow and be returned to your entire message to edit/shorten it, but I have experienced my message being gone at times when this has happened. I recommend that if you have a lengthy post that you copy it to your clipboard before hitting 'preview' or 'post' to guarantee that you do not lose it if it exceeds the restrictions.
3) I have also enabled the body of the message to accept HTML. If you know how to make links to sites using HTML, you are welcome to do that, to appropriate sites. (Sometimes a person may wish to make more than one link in a post, so this makes that possible, since the format is limited to only one automatic link box)
Thank you for participating in this forum! This forum is intended to be a Safe Haven for all who come here with the desire to share in their support of one another with Endometriosis.
Be Well Friends and Befriend One Another!
