Sometimes everything is so black and white, Tonight is New Years eve in a year that has seen some of the greatest moments ever and some of the our worst fears seen. In the Last week alone people have sat down at their dinning room tables forgetting all the trouble that they have been though in the twelve months before hand. And in a timeslot of between fifteen minute and 4 hours more then one hundred and twenty-five thousand people have lost there lives. And millions more feel like maybe it would have been better if that tsunami had taken me because now I have to go though the dead bodies and find my loved ones. I have to live though others losing their lives to disease that these people have never seen before.
These people did not die from some war that no one wants to fight. They did not die because they had done something wrong. They died because no one ever thought that this could happen. No one imagined it. Not me, not you, no one. If the thousands of tourist thought it could happen they may not have gone there. Some would be alive. Death did not happen because the earth shock and a waves were caused. Death happened because no one ever in there worst fears ever thought the earth would shake on Boxing Day of 2004. And that that shake would cause a tsunami that would kill so many people.
This is not a time for the world to fight. This is a time for the people of earth to come together and stand strong. We are one world. We are one people. We all want in the end the same thing.
