Ruby Ruby is a red purebred Chow Chow.  She is now 7 years old. Ruby was adopted at the age of 3 on Dec. 2, 1999 from a home with 3 other Chows because she wanted and demanded more attention than the other chows in the home.  Her previous owners dicided that because of this she would be happier in a home with no other dogs.  Her birthday is Aug. 1, 1996 but is celebrated on the day that she was adopted on Dec. 2, 1999. Ruby's full name because she is a purebred is actully China Rose Ruby Bear.  But everyone calls her Ruby or Ruby Rose when she is in trouble. She loves her walks, and her friend Jack.  Peas and corn are some of her favourite treats.  She loves lots and lots of cuddles, and petting and to play with Jack, either chasing him through the house which he turns around and chases her also, or she will join Jack when he is playing with his cat toys. She dislikes getting groomed at the groomers, paper boy coming by, vacuum cleaners, doorbells and knockers, people carrying laundry baskets, people wearing hats and thunderstorms.
