Scholarships

The scholarship committee is now accepting applications for 2008/2009. If you are interested in applying for a 2008/2009 scholarship, please contact Steve Schafer at schafer_steve@sbcglobal.net for an application. All applications need to be returned by July 1, 2008. Akron OH 44313 Scholarships available include: Enhanced Fundraising Allocation: Money earned through fundraising is allocated to student accounts, and if granted, your student would get a larger allocation than normal. Linda Saffles Memorial Scholarship: This Scholarship is awarded annually to two students in the amount of $250 each. Linda Saffles was an ETC parent who truly valued ETC for its friendships, for the giving of song, dance, and goodwill to the community, and for nurturing its members. Linda lost her courageous battle with cancer in 2001, and this scholarship is named in her memory. ETC Foundation and Grant Scholarships: These are awarded in varied amounts through the ETC Foundation and other generous grants as they become available.

Tuition

Tuition for the ETC School of Musical Arts' performance groups vary for the All Americans and for the Main Street Singers (the New Generation Chorus is tuition free). The tuition is adjusted yearly and is based on travel expenses, costume expenses, the number of members of each choir, and other overhead.
