Singualr nouns need indefinite article A or An to express a general thing

is used before singualr counrable nouns that beginwith consonants.

is used before singular conuntable nouns that begin  with vowels

Plural noun Definition : Whrn a noun means more than one
                                           
          
Example: apples, boys ,girls, books, dhurches, boxes

Rule # 1
              The plural of noun is susally formed by adding 'S'

               Examples : lamp - lamps / cat - cats /  fork - forks

S, Z, X, and Ch form the plural by adding 'es'
