Little black cat on the battlefield. Some people regard it as a sign of bad luck. Maybe that's why Third Reich's Forces were defeated in World War II. This diorama shows Wehrmacht soldiers walking towards Schüsellburg, Austria while SS Armored Unit having a lunch break.

Delta Hobby - House Ruin
First; I built Tamiya German Armored Car Sdkfz.223. I added interior details like weapons, Hitler's wall poster and AVIS magazines, painted overall in German Tank Grey and weathered with pastel chalks. Hand-made Swastika flag on the car avoids it being a target for German fighter airplanes. The crew is Verlinden Tankers at Rest, painted as in box cover. The Wehrmacht soldiers walking are Tamiya German Machine Gun Crew on Maneuver (one the best of Tamiya for WW II dioramas) with modified arms and painted in early camouflage pattern. The House Ruin is a Turkish cast model from Delta Hobby. I glued 2 walls, painted with enamels and added some extra work. Window frames, wooden parts of roof, folded table and 2nd floor are hand-made of balsa and ice cream sticks. Wall posters and Signs are Verlinden. Accessories around are various Tamiya parts. Black cat taken from Tamiya Tank Ammo Loading Crew Set and painted as in box cover.
To build the ground of diorama; I mixed paper paste, sawdust, kaolen and white glue, applied it as the ground and waited for a while. 4 or 5 hours later, I made the footprints, wheel tracks  and replaced road signs. I let it dry for 24 hours and then airbrushed with acyrlics. After applying static grass, I weathered it using watercolor paints and pastel chalks. Having a final look on my diorama, the second floor looked so empty. I added a MG34 and considered it as a machine gun pit.
