Having the idea of building 2 dioramas in the same place,the second one is Samewhere in Russia.( See also Somewhere in Russia ) The motorcyclists and Feldgendarmeries are gone and the wooden fence is broken by a tank.Road signs are damaged.2 German officers and a NCO in camouflage clothing checking their position in the battlefield. Kubelwagen Type 82 is fully loaded with extra ammo and personal equipments.

I built the kübelwagen first as in the box instructions.I added interior door handles and an identification flag made from lead foil painted as a Swastika flag.Extra load in front of the vehicle is is from spare parts box. The figures are painted in enamels, painting camouflage uniforms is really great but never satisfying. I built the diorama base in the same method of Somewhere in Russia diorama with different foot prints and wheel tracks. Figures, kübelwagen and diorama base are painted and washed with enamels. Watercolor paints and chalk pastels were used for final  weathering.
