BIO:

 


Born in Birmingham, England, in 1964, Joseph Gallivan studied English at Oxford University, and now works as a journalist, dividing his time between London and New York. He was a rock critic for The Independent of London for five years, and got his first internet account in 1993. He now writes about the internet business for various papers, including the New York Post.

 

His first novel, Oi, Ref! (Sceptre 1998) was a critically acclaimed comedy about a soccer referee’s downfall and subsequent season in hell.
