exhibit closed indefinetly my landlady returned yesterday with good and bad news. the good news was that she had returned safely from her three week holiday in azerbaijan and had a good time, the bad news was that due to the non fluffing of her feather davenport which "needs fluffening ever couple of days to keep the air in... otherwise their could be irreplaceable damage..." my flatmate and i are no longer allowed to use the livingroom. little did i know that monday would be my last day with access to cable television and a cd player with speakers. well, suck me sideways, there goes one forth of the house i had access to. who buys a davenport they can't enjoy anyway? a high maintainence sofa, who knew? a long december this december could be a long one if i get a job with the department store dickens & jones. i have an interview with them this saturday and if i get hired the terms are that i have to work christmas eve and the day after christmas which would make it a little hard to be home for the holidays. i really want the job but i also really want to be home for christmas but first and foremost i need to replenish my bank account so if i get the job i'll take it even though its depressing just thinking about not spending christmas with my family. hopefully that bookstore or record store rings me for an interview instead. _ |

26 > 11:31 (tuesday) if only some rain would fall on the houses and the boulevards and all with a pink fluffy guitar strap is this the return to better song writting days? that remains unknown however i have put together two new songs, one pretty hastily. if you have any interest in them at all then you can take a look at right to lose and yes i could at www.oocities.org/mundanecontinental they sound better with music. or at least i hope so. job search 2004: part deux well never did i think that after my long and eventual employment search this summer would i stumble upon this journey once again. one interesting difference between here and there is that instead of a resume companies like ciriculum vitaes. ian put me to shame he busted out his five page vitae and i stood there with just one page. i stand by my resume influence vitae much like my decision to buy a mechanical bull. _ |

20 > 00:36 (wednesday) if only some rain would fall on the houses and the boulevards skip to the louve trains, planes, it all the same, all that matters is that you get there. raise and focus your camera and bring into view paris, france... an A plus in landscaping, monuments, atmosphere, museums... and C minus in fragrant odors. in five days i saw it all, the louve, notre dame, the eiffel tower, the arch de triumph, the catacombs, the champs elisee, versille, les depot halles, the metro, the seine... and i must say that i was impressed. paris is an amazing city. i even had time to walk the non-touristy streets which was well worth my time. also, much thanks to the people i stayed with at the woodstock hostel... chris, jeremy, jon, jen, amanda, lindsay, steph, charry, matt, and lesley. may the bagettes that you buy always be warm and scrumpous. piccadilly circus the bright lights and billboards serve you well for you remain a beacon for drunks and lost souls that wonder late in the london night. it was you who was constant when i the tube stopped running and i was stranded at some random station miles from where i needed to be, it was you who i walked miles to when there was nothing left for me to do, it was you who picked me up and led me to where i wanted to be at two in the morning, and it was you who brought me to my door step when i was drousy, exhausted, and incoherent. you were my last and only hope and you served me well. _ |

1 > 16:55 (friday) bottles and cans just clap your hands back on the web in a little place called kingston university, which is hardly little when you measure it by the how many students are enrolled here (roughly 12,000), there are three computer labs, in one of them i'll be there... much like tom joad. some call it slacking, i call it lack of motivation now, this of course is not by choice. my original class schedule had me going to class tuesdays, wednesdays, and fridays with the bulk of my classes on tuesdays. after having gone to my classes, the first week of classes to be more precise, i have been informed that my tuesdays are the same, on wednesdays i have one class and and one biweekly class, and on fridays i don't have class. how this works, i don't know, but now almost have too much free time. if i picked up a thursday class i'd be happy but there isn't anything i want to take so i will go by what a great band, arugeable the greatest band in the history of bands, once said... let it be. _ |
