CULTURAL BENEFITS 2Gun Crime & Violent Crime Soaring One of
the Much toted benefits of Racial / Cultural diversity is that it
will bring cultural enrichment, to a people sorely in need of it as
if our own culture is some how lacking? But what are its real
achievements? Gun Crime
and Violent Crime are on the rise, solely due to immigration,
Despite the hopes of “bleeding heart Labour,” immigration seem
to be inexorably reinforcing the "Rainbow Coalition.
London now has more cases of Gun crime than any other British City.
London also now has more cases of Gun Crime than any other city in
Europe and is now the Gun Crime capital of the Europe. Gun Crime
once virtually unknown in England has now been wilfully introduced
across many of our major cities. It
is no coincidence that London has the highest gun crime and violent
crime rates in Britain; it is also home to the largest Immigrant
communities. At present London is 40% none white. This year According
to latest figures the number of gun murders in London has leapt by
90%. In April to
November 2001 there were 30, compared to 16 in the same period last
year. This year for the six month period 16 of the murders were
'black on black' killings compared to nine last year, an increase of
77%. And there are "clear
links" in many gun murders to Jamaica’s Another jaw-dropping statistic: during the period 1996-1999,
59 black people and 69 white people died from gunshot wounds. The
chances of a black person being shot dead are therefore
approximately 40 times higher than for a white person. In virtually
every case, blacks that died of gunshot wounds were shot by other
blacks. At
least two people a day are now robbed at gunpoint in London. What is
not recorded for 1996-1999 and 2001 is how much Black on White Gun
Killings their Does any one care? Since there are "clear links" to Jamaica’s one can assume BLACKS perpetrate
the vast majority of the other killings since it would be
unreasonable to assume BLACKS only SHOOT BLACKS, So
it would be safe to assume that the majority of the other killings
are by blacks As far a violent crime is concerned according to the Home Office figures during the period 1996-1999 , 7.5 % of the population of London are black. A quarter of all the arrests in the Metropolitan Police District are of black people. As relatively few blacks live in suburban areas of London, One would assume that they must now represent a majority, or close to it, in arrests in almost every category of crime in the inner London boroughs. Blacks represent 54% of those arrested for robbery in London. In the inner city, this must surely be 80-90%. Again, the race of the victims of these robberies is not recorded. I wonder why not. A new report claimed BLACK people accounted for 28 per cent of arrests for robberies across England and Wales, In London, the proportion was 57 per cent, in Bedfordshire 30 per cent, Leicestershire 25 per cent and the Thames Valley and Nottinghamshire 21 per cent. Across the country, black people make up about two per cent of the total population. Also The UK's Deputy High Commissioner in Jamaica, Phil Sinkinson, said reports that one in 10 passengers on flights from Jamaica were drug smugglers could even be an underestimation. Finally MOBILE phone thefts surged last year as black teenagers targeted white boys. In the Metropolitan Police area, 71 per cent of people accused of mobile phone theft were black, 58 per cent in the West Midlands and 40 per cent in Avon and Somerset. The vast majority of victims (75%) in all six areas where white, with Asians the next most often targeted. Only a small proportion of victims were black. |

London
Gun Crime Up 90%
Revenge
killings among drug gangs have fuelled an explosion in gun murders in Britain.
According
to latest figures the number of gun murders in London has leapt by 90% this
year.
In
April to November 2001 there were 30, compared to 16 in the same period last
year. This year 16 of the murders were 'black on black' killings compared to nine
last year, an increase of 77%.
All-night
garages There
were more shootings in the trendy West End rather than in boroughs like Lambeth,
Hackney and Brent.
At
least two people a day are now robbed at gunpoint in London.Armed
robbers are also increasingly targeting all-night garages, offlicences and shops rather than
banks and cash in transit.
Jamaica drug route Commander Alan Brown of
Operation Trident said there were "clear links" in many gun murders to
Jamaica, the major drug route into this country.
But he added: "If we take someone out there is an immediate struggle to
take over the drug dealing of that particular gang."
Detectives
estimate as much as four tonnes of cocaine is making its way into London through
drug mules - mostly women - travelling from Jamaica on commercial flights each
year.

Black gangs prowl for mobiles
BY RICHARD FORD, HOME CORRESPONDENT
The report estimates that 710,000 phones were stolen last year — almost double the number recorded by the police — and one survey suggests that more than half a million of those were taken from children aged between 11 and 15.
The report also says that most suspected offenders are black teenagers, preying on white male contemporaries — they are said to believe that picking on girls is “out of order”.
The Home Office says that the recent rise in robberies in England and Wales has been fuelled by mobile phone thefts: the number of robberies involving a phone has risen from 8 per cent two years ago to 28 per cent in 2000-01. In the Metropolitan Police area, 36 per cent of robberies involved mobile phones.
The Home Office study, entitled Mobile Phone Thefts, will reinforce ministerial demands that the industry does more to incorporate security features into phones. “Phone robberies are predominantly a male-on- male event. Young male phone users have cause to be most wary,” the report says.
Tim Godwin, Deputy Assistant Commissioner at the Metropolitan Police, said: “Mobile phones are a piece of property that are highly visible on the streets and valuable. As a result they are very attractive for opportunistic crimnals.”
Young people were more vulnerable because they are smaller and easily intimidated. Mobile phone users were also easy targets because when phoning or messaging they paid little attention to what was going on around them.
The study published today highlights a British Crime Survey study showing a 16 per cent rise in mobile phone theft between 1999 and 2000.
Figures from the Metropolitan Police and forces in Lancashire, West Midlands, Avon and Somerset, Kent and Greater Manchester showed doubling of recorded mobile phone thefts between 1998 and 2000.
Ninety per cent of offenders are male with two thirds in the Metropolitan Police area under 18 years old. A third of all offenders were aged 15 and 16.
The report says that in the Metropolitan Police, West Midlands and Avon and Somerset force areas, 18 per cent of all mobile phone offenders are 16 years old and nine per cent aged 14. The overwhelming majority of phone robbers in the six police area were black, and more than two thirds of incidents involved gangs of youngsters operating mainly in city centres, with 14 per cent operating in groups of more than five people.
In the Metropolitan Police area, 71 per cent of people accused of mobile phone theft were black, 58 per cent in the West Midlands and 40 per cent in Avon and Somerset.
Even though the report acknowledges that both the Metropolitan Police and West Midlands force have large black populations, it says the “disparity in the ethnic composition of those accused is nonetheless marked”.
The vast majority of victims in all six areas where white, with Asians the next most often targeted. Only a small proportion of victims were black.

The 19-year-old is in a serious condition in hospital with a suspected fractured skull following the shooting on New Year's Day.
She had been visiting family in Walthamstow, east London when she was shot once in the head at 1730 GMT.
The Metropolitan Police said they believed the attacker had already stolen the phone when he shot the woman.
Detective Sergeant Grant Powell of the
Flying Squad called the crime "horrific".
"This lady was walking down the road when she was approached by a man
who asked her for her mobile phone.
"She struggled with him briefly and the phone was taken from her.
"It looks at this stage as though she was shot after he already had the
phone.
"She is seriously ill in hospital but she has been conscious and we have
been able to talk to her, although not at length.
"She just remembers hearing a bang and then a pain in her head."
Busy street
As the woman, who lives in the area, lay on the pavement, a neighbour came to
her aid after hearing the shot.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The shooting happened in busy Lea Bridge Road and police believe someone may
have seen the gunman escaping.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a
black skull cap, silver bracelet, dark top and black trousers.
Mobile warning
Police are also interested in speaking to the driver of a white Metro style
vehicle seen near the incident.
Roads near the scene were closed off while police carried out searches.
The weapon used was a handgun but officers have yet to establish what calibre.
Mobile phone thefts are an increasing problem for police in London and are
targeted in more than a third of robberies in the capital.
Police have advised mobile users not to make calls in the street.
