İNGİLİZ DİLİ
EĞİTİMİ BÖLÜMÜ
KISA TANITIMI |

- Marmara Üniversitesi Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesi'ne bağlı
olarak faaliyet gösteren İngiliz Dili Eğitimi bölümü, üniversitenin
Göztepe Kampüsünde G-Bloktadır [Kuyubaşı-Kadıköy].
- Bölüm, 1982 yılından bu yana Yabancı Diller Bölümü olarak
hizmet vermektedir. 1998 yılında yapılan yeni bir düzenlemeyle bugünkü
şeklini almıştır. Almanca, Fransızca bölümleriyle aynı binada
eğitim verilmektedir.

- Üniversite sınavında , bu bölümü (İngilizce Öğretmenliği)kazanan öğrencilerin İngilizce yeterliklerini ölçmek amacıyla açılan "Proficiency Exam"e katılmaları ve yeterli puanı almaları gerekmektedir. Bunun yanında TOEFL sınavından, okul tarafından belirlenen puanı (en son 520 idi)alan ya da almış olduğunu belgeleyenler bu sınavdan muaf tutulacak ve doğrudan birinci sınıfa alınacaktır.
Aksi takdirde, bir(1) yıl hazırlık sınıfında okumak zorundadırlar.
