Romeo and Juliet:

Set in Verona, Italy, Romeo and Juliet is a tragic tale about two rival families (Montague and Capulet) from which a love affair is concieved.  Romeo and Juliet meet at a party held by the Capulet family.  They fall in love instantly, and plan to marry.  Their families would forbid it if word ever got out.  Sooner or later word does get out and Romeo is banned from the city.  In a desperate attempt to try and save their relationship, Juliet puts matter into her own hands.  She goes to an Apothecary and purchases poison tha does not kill her but only puts her into a short but deep slumber.  On the day of Juliet's wedding her nurse comes in to wake her, but can only scream when she realizes she can not wake her up.  A good friend of Romeo hears about the tragedy of Juliet.  Not knowing the full story, he rides to where Romeo is, to tell him all about his beloved wife to be.  When Romeo finds out that Juliet has "taken her own life" he rides back to Verona and finds Juliet "dead".  He kisses her lips knowing well that she has poisoned herself in hopes to get every last bit.  As he now sleeps Juliet wakes to find him "dead".  Thinking that he has truly killed himself she takes his dagger and takes her own life.  When he awakes he realizes he has made an awful mistake but cannot change the past.  Knowing Juliet is now truly dead he, once again, takes his life.  Such a tragedy had to occur or the rival families would never had made peace.  Some blame Romeo and Juliet both for being too young and impatient.  Others blame the families for the loss.
