The Sleeping Giant

Here we sit, a peacefull nation
long term ignorance of evils duration
Going about our daily illusions
hopes for attaining the American dillusion
All the while, there is an evil out there
Just waiting to bring us to our nightmare
Who is the megalomaniac here?
Is it the man who brings us our terror
Is it us, in our thinking, who believe we are IT
I can tell you without doubt, it is he who will on his knees sit

Oh we will kneel, indeed this is true
Watch us as our God brings freedom through
I have witnessed the spirit of my nation
It took evil to reveal patrotism in the current generation
It's amazing the force inside
It's not only me, it's the giant I see
We are angry, we cry angry tears
We will fight terrorism, no matter the years
I am proud to be American, now more than ever
They thought they were gaining, they thought they were clever
Now they will face the wrath of the giant
They will taste and hear and smell it's defiance
We refuse to be consumed by your goals and desire
We have a God who is mighty and higher
Higher than hate, higher than greed
Open your eyes and watch yourself bleed
Now it's your god against ours
Who will accomplish the win?
It is you who will face the wrath
of great sin
Motivated by what?
We still haven't a clue
We sit here lost.. we dont even know you
You dont know US
You make your assumptions
based on the fact that we bring freedom to all
This is the reason you bring our towers to fall?
This is reason you kill thousands of us?
You are a freak, motivated by hate..
Now you hide.. as the devils mate
We are a nation, great in our strength
We will find you and destroy you no matter the time
Or it's length!
You have awoken the giant inside
This giant is our spirit, now come fully alive!
So go ahead.. hide in your hole
Like a cowardly demon, with a sensless goal
One day you will know,
One day you will pay
One day you will aknowledge
