in a moment frozen in time
can influence your desire to commit
a harsher crime
All in the name of freedom
spews your leader...

Hate grows fatter
as long as you feed her
Hate passed from one generation
to the very next
small minds confused and perplexed
Then one day
he walks in...
Mr influence..and his lies begin..
You grab a hold of his every word
adopting him as teacher
Could be your big brother, dad, or friend..
could even be your preacher
ahhh yes influence...
what to do .. what to do..
Here's a thought..
To your own heart be true!
Society is lazy
our influence comes so free
Not offered to your children by you nor mine by me
Influenced by media, television and song
Is this the way to keep morals strong?
Influence a stranger with an act of sharing
Teach your children the reward of caring.
Maybe just maybe they will stand a chance
to be surrounded by diversity
and love the dance.
