Last summer I saw you smile
Now it's the sentient obersvation that I depend on
I saw your eyes, brown in colour, like strenght you held
I heard your laughter so gentle and fun
you were natures myrmidon to the end
with your glaque around you you'd stand as friend
I smelled your essence like a field impressed with lillies
character you'd show to the countless many
a philomath as the sun arose day after perfunctory day
then the firmament called on you like a thief in the night
you would abscond too quickly from our human sight
we long to feel the warmth of your skin
the way you reach us all from within
to say simple words to you that so many discard as free
oh the day of laughter I wish to re-live
dear heaven just one more day give
her gregarious nature I must look upon once again
so many days go by, your not there
No matter how I try, looking everywhere
do you see us from up there?
Do you know how much your missed?
Do you long to feel again the way that he kissed?
Come back to us for just a day
Say something, just one more thing, and I promise I'll be okay
