You in your vulnerability are cajoled into another’s truth
Drinking their verbal vodka and vermouth
You are persuaded into believing their way should now be yours
And with a drunken persuasion, you gaze at man made stars
Instead of realizing your fundamental realities are commensurable
You let go of yourself completely and conform to another
The description of you when shared by another is often mendacious
And their words shared like dominoes’ touching is contagious
When do you look inside to find what is wrong
And when do you decide to change and be strong
What takes you out of your living coffin?
How long has it been since rigor mortis set in?
What frisson of fear sealed your tomb?
Do you wish to rise again and be free from your gloom?
It's so dark and your air is getting much thinner
You don't have long, you better decide fast
Rise up from your grave at last
You’re walking around as a ghost in your prime
Just getting through one sunset at a time
Let me breathe air into your mortal being with my word
Let me shine a light into your soul so you can see and move upward
The consecutive crashes to you’re mind have chained you
The loss of a loved one has set your color to blue
The mental challenge of illness has stricken your being
The changes unending set your glee nature fleeing
You long for stability to sit at your door
To laugh for days once more
To not wonder in your thoughts… what life is for?
I am still here and I will breathe my air
I am your God and for you I deeply care.
