| Doves The Last Broadcast The overall feel of this album is actually quite eery. Sounds echo, voices are quiet and everything lingers before slowly fading away. It's like ghosts playing rock music in a large empty house. Not that this is bad, because it isn't, in fact, it sounds great. Many of the themes and lyrics are actually rather depressing but you'll still find yourself wanting to sing along as loud as you can. Highlights on the album include "Words", "There Goes The Fear" and "Pounding". Rating- 8/10 |
