Super Monkey Ball (GC)
Rolling around balls with monkeys in them sound a bit
weird? Well, that's the premise to Super Monkey Ball,
one of the GameCubes first Puzzle/Party games. The
main game is comprised of floating platforms with
obstacles you must navigate around while collecting
bananas and reaching the goal before the time runs out, the fun isn't just restricted to one player though, the main game can be played as a party game but there are also 6 mini games you can play by yourself or with up to four human or computer players, many rules can be tweeked to your satisfaction and amusement. The Mini games are Monkey Target where you have to roll down a platform before taking off into the air and landing on a target, Monkey fight where you roll around a stage trying to punch your oponents over the edge, Monkey Golf, Monkey Bowling, Monkey Billiards and Monkey Race which are self explanitory. The graphics are very good in general but may be too cute for some. The controls are presice and the game is easy to pick up and play but warning, the later levels are almost impossible.
Overall this is a very good game, but is unfortunately slighlty short, although you'll be playing the multiplayer games for ages.
