You know how it goes with most sequals nowadays,
more action, more special effects and less of everything
else. This movie is no exeption. The plot is completely
dull and uninteresting so I won't bore you with the details.
There are some funny moments but the film in general lacks any of the charm and wit of the original. The funniest thing in the film is Frank, the talking dog, who is truly great and certainly helps make this film watchable. Micheal Jackson pops up in a cameo as a wannabe MIB agent, yet still looks more like one of the aliens. Speaking of the aliens, Lara Flynn Boyle is great as Serleena, the villianess but is too easily disposed of in the final battle. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith make a great duo and manage to save this film from being absolute garbage. Overall, this is just too silly and nowhere near as good as the original, but it still is watchable.
