| Confessions of a Dangerous Mind Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is the supposedly true story of Chuck Barris (Sam Rockwell), a television producer by day and CIA assassin by night. The screenplay, from writer Charlie Kaufman, is often funny and entertaining. The acting is generally of a good standard but unfortunately the character of Chuck can be frustratingly unlikable and this is a major let down. The direction from George Clooney is interesting at times but not interesting enough to keep you glued to the screen throughout, in fact the film is too long and just begins to drag towards the end. Overall though, this is an entertaining movie, it could have been a hell of a lot better but it's still worth a watch if you're intruiged by the storyline. Rating- 6/10 |
