Cruel Intentions
This is a modern day retelling of Dangerous Liasons starring Ryan
Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar who play two rich stepsiblings living it up in Manhatten's Upper East Side.
Sabastien (Phillippe) is bored of the girls he has seduced so often in the past so he sets his sites on Annete Hargrove(Reese Witherspoon) the beautiful, virginal headmaster's daughter. Kathryn (Gellar) sees the perfect opportunity for a wager. If Sebastien fails to steal Annete away from her boyfriend and into bed then Kathryn gets his car, a priceless vintage Jaguar; if he succeeds he'll win the most tempting prize of all- Kathryn.
Sarah Michelle Gellar gives it her best at playing a bad girl while Ryan Phillippe gives an average performance.
The Actors look great, the sets look great and the movie in general is pure eye candy.
The soundtrack is really good, including music from Fat Boy Slim, Placebo and Counting Crows.
This may not be fantastic but it's probably one of the best teen movies out there.
Overall Cruel Intentions is entertaining and looks cool, if you like this kind of stuff then I suggest you get this on DVD.
