Minority Report

AI meets Blade Runner, or
something like that. This film blasts
you into the year 2054 where we
meet Tom Cruise's character Wes
Anderson who is an agent working
for the pre-crime division, crimes
are forseen by three super beings
and can be prevented, the system
was thought to be perfect until Cruise
is fingered for a crime against a man he has never met, he now has two days before the murder is said to take place, has he been framed, are the psychics wrong or is he really a killer?
The beginning is a little slow but once the movie picks up pace it's very enjoyable, the action scenes are elaborate and stunning to watch and the futuristic settings are extremely convincing. The special effects are great though not over used which is a relief.
The plot does get quite complicated and will certainly require you to keep watching carefully. There are a few suprises along the way but towards the end the movie seems to drag on, the finale itself is not quite as good as it should be considering the standard of other parts of the movie.
Overall though this is a top notch Sci-Fi flick and if you can keep up with the story you'll love it.
