| Rabbit-Proof Fence The true story of Molly Craig, a 14 year old black australian girl who, in 1931, led her younger sister and cousin in a daring escape from a government camp set up to train aboriginal children as domestic workers and intergrate them into the white society. The girls must stay one step ahead of the authorities during their 1,500 mile journey home. The story is both touching and shocking, and though it's carried at walking pace, it's still an exciting chase movie. It's certainly interesting and sad to watch, it's also beautifully shot and well acted. If you want to see a powerful movie and don't mind shedding a few tears then you should watch this, if you can't sit through a movie without explosions and violence then look elsewhere. Rating- 7/10 |
