| News: Television Warning! 24 Season 3 Episode 1 Spoilers!!! The episode begins at 1pm. It is set 3 years after the last episode of season 2. President Parmer is alive and running for re-election. D.B. Woodside plays Wayne Palmer, the President's brother. Jack Bauer is back at CTU. Tony has been offered a job in the CIA HQ in Virginia. Jack has spent the last year trying to bring one Ramon Salazar (a narco-terrorist) to justice. Salazar's associates are threatening to release a deadly plague into the general public unless Salazar is released by 8pm. Jack and Kate were apparantly involved for two years, but have now split. Kim is working for CTU. Michelle is still at CTU but her relationship with Tony has changed.. Lynn does not make an appearance in this episode.. Both Kim and Jack are keeping sectrets from each other. Kim's secret involves her love life, could she be pregnant or are the rumours about her becoming a lesbian true? Jack's involves his health, is he already infected with the plague? This sounds like a nice set up, a lot of things seemed to have changed and this will hopefully keep things fresh and new, but I am still hoping to see Nina, Lynn and Sherry Palmer come back, they will probably pop up unexpectedly some time during the season, here's hoping anyway. BBC Backlisted A recent change to the BBC's broadcasting methods could mean that upcoming movies will not be shown on the channel, along with fine tv shows such as 24. The BBC has recently moved to a new satellite that is encryption free and companies such as Warner, Fox and Universal will possibly pull their films from the channel because of fears of them being intercepted by other European countries. The BBC say they are trying to negotiate. |
