Ensemble "SKOPJE" |
This kind of dances was dancing usually in the surrounding area of town named Tetovo at the Western Macedonia. The dances expresses the ritual of bottling the jars called in original "bardak" at the main square of the village where the fountain was build usually. The young girls used to use this ritual for each others conversation, fan and singing and they used to spend much time together by the fountain very often. The costumes used by the choreographer of this game are very simply and they expresses the usual look of the country girl. They are made of a natural materials (cotton, wool..) in white-black version with ornaments. The dance is performing with orchestra suite component of classical instruments like guitar, accordion, drum ("tapan") etc. |
