DOWNLOADING ARTICLES, SAMPLE PROGRAMS, FORMS FOR CUSTOMIZING

These programs, forms, articles are Microsoft Word 2000 version.  The ones that are underlined are ready for downloading.  Others will be added as time permits.

A few of the links no longer work due to changes in file formats.  We are working to change the links.

To open these articles, programs, or forms in Microsoft word for "saving" and "customizing" for your company, use the toolbar at the top of this page in "Internet explorer".  Go to file "Edit with Microsoft word for windows", then save file on your computer.  We run an anti-virus program on all files.  However, we recommend you scan the files with your anti-virus software to assure they meet your requirements.  Files that are "ready for download" are underlined which indicate they are linked to the file.  The ones that are not yet underlined, have not been posted to our site and are not  ready for download, yet.  They will be added as our time permits.

ARTICLES/SAMPLE PROGRAMS/FORMS

The safety/health articles, sample programs, and forms are a collection of materials obtained from EHS Network members, OSHA, and various safety- related sites.  More articles/programs will be added/updated as they are submitted. The EHS SAFETY TRAINING LIBRARY is made available free of charge, as part of the EHS Network's way of promoting a Safer work environment by educating employers and employees in the requirements mandated by various regulations, including but not limited to OSHA.   The EHS Network is, however, not responsible for your compliance and these are only offered to assist you in your efforts.

Please remember, that a written program is ONLY the beginning….

The employer must implement the program, train employees, and involve employees in every aspect of your Safety/Health System to achieve a safer work environment.  Employees can only protect themselves against hazards that they are aware of.  As the Employer, it is your responsibility to ensure that the employees are made aware of the hazards and trained in appropriate measures they should take to protect themselves.

SUBMITTING ARTICLES/PROGRAMS/FORMS

If you have an article, sample written program, sample form or other information you would like to share with other safety professionals, please contact your "EHS Network Host/Contact Person" to submit it for publishing on our website.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLIANCE

The EHS Network does not take responsibility for contents of any of the articles/programs/forms.  The employer is responsible for compliance.  These written articles, programs, and forms are provided free of charge for you to customize to meet the needs at your facility.  So, please review them carefully, and customize them to fit the needs of your facility.

We hope this information is helpful in achieving a safer workplace
