- Occupation: undergraduate biology student, University of Maryland, College Park,
undergraduate genetics researcher
- Career aspirations: research biologist; university professor; writer
- Favorite foods: Maryland blue crabs (you have to be a Marylander to appreciate them) and any
kind of seafood; Japanese; Tex-Mex; Italian; among others
- Various miscellaneous interests: webpage building; music (everything from the Beatles to 'N Sync,
from Mariah Carey to Led Zeppelin); astrology, tarot and personality typing; pinball and logic games
- Favorite Edward Norton movie: so far, it's "Keeping the Faith" (as of April 2000)
- Why I liked Aaron Stampler: I don't want to give away too much of the movie plot of "Primal Fear," but let's just
say that Edward really showed his versatility in this movie. He was totally believeable as a nervous,
soft-spoken stuttering waif of a choir boy.
- Why I liked Lester "Worm" Murphy: He didn't smoke (the introduction of his character in "Rounders" was hilarious!), he knew how to play HORSE (hahaha!), and he had
an ace up his sleeve. Let me say that I thought Worm had the best smile when he wasn't playing poker, but
when he was, he had the best poker gestures!
- Why I liked Father Brian Finn: What can I say? Edward Norton is, as many critics have noted, adorable in this
film. He is a wholly likeable character and I'm still upset with the ending. (Though it was the only
reasonable ending for Hollywood, I know!) Am I the only one who wanted to jump into the movie and give
him a big hug? It was quite a leap to go from playing a accused priest-killer to an actual priest, but he
does it convincingly.
- Why I liked Holden Spence: The setting - New York City. The actor - Edward Norton. His assignment - to act
like the world's biggest romantic and simpleton at the same time while romancing Drew Barrymore, in the songs of "Just You, Just
Me" and "My Baby Just Cares for Me." Grade - A for an actor who wasn't brought up as a singer. Capiche?
If I am ever lucky enough to have Edward Norton actually visit my page...wow, that'd be pretty nifty! So Edward,
if you are lurking around here, could you e-mail me or sign my guestbook?
THANKS!
Wow, I'm honored to have someone - you - reading this page. This Edward Norton page has come from merely
several weeks of me being an Edward Norton fanatic. (And any real Edward Norton fanatic will respect
his privacy.) I still can't believe he grew up in Columbia, Maryland - it's a city nearby that I usually
don't think much of since I don't know anyone who lives there. I did see my first rock concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion,
in Columbia, so that's pretty cool. (How does one go about getting into those movie premieres that Edward
keeps hosting in Baltimore? I think it's great that he's so interested in raising money for charities
close to his heart. It'd even be cooler to do a little Edward Norton watching while donating money to a worthy cause. Anyone with
suggestions?)
My musical interests are chronicled here. It's been
a while since I've updated that page...so a lot of that stuff is outdated. If you want to see my page
at school, it's here. There you will find links to my
research pages, and miscellaneous other interests - feel free to stop by, and write me a message in the guestbook.
MWA! Thanks for visiting.
