On or about the 1st of July Cpt Herminio Blas was conducting a routine survey on the island of Vieques. He was doing an assessment of the damage caused by Navy bombing runs.
Disgusted with what he had seen (plus it was DIRTY
there and there were BUGS!) CPT Blas made plans to return home and report
his findings...
Unfortunately he was lured to a local bar...
After a few seemingly innocent drinks his companions revealed themselves
to be members of Naval Intelligence. CPT Blas soon found himself under
attack...
He was tortured for hours...and forced to drink Non-Puerto Rican Rum.
Fortunately he was rescued by his wife and his assailants
fled...
