| Information to include Your business cards should have all the contact information for you and your business, such as: Logo and tag line Business name, address and telephone number Your name and title (owner, account manager, etc) Fax telephone number if you have one set up Business website URL, if you have one Brief description of your services The DO's and DON’T's DO include enough description that folks remember what the business is. DO make sure there’s some ‘white space’, blank space so that it’s not crammed. DON’T try to list everything you offer. Highlight your best offer and entice calls. DON’T make it busy with a lot of colors. Choosing designs The design you choose will reflect your personality. Let your design tell a little about you! I, personally, prefer a little color in the paper, not a lot, but a blue tint or off-white coloring for the background. I think these catch a person’s eye because they stand out from the more common white cards. Be careful that the color of the background paper doesn’t clash with your logo design. When your design choices please you, your clients will respond to them! |
