LAVENDER DROPPED FROM CONTRACT: BALLIN' GEAR CITES BREACH (12/1) Andrew Lavender was dropped from his $53 million dollar endorsement contract early this morning, pending a decision of Ballin' Gear's executive board. No official statement was released on Lavender's removal as co-spokesperson for the company, but insiders say it was directly related to his conviction in a mock trial in his World History Class on treason charges and the upcoming investory meetings. |
COMPANIES MEET WITH INVESTORS: TECH ATHLETIC COMES OUT THE WINNER 12/4 All three companies met with private investors Friday, December 1st in a closed meeting open only to the company employees and the prospective investors. Nine total investors met with representatives from each company before deciding who should recieve their money. Each company was complimented on their presentation, but it was Tech Athletic that ultimately came out with the most money from the meeting, $290 million dollars. C.O. Bearcats came out second with $200 million, and Ballin' Gear rounded out the group with $60 million dollars. |

ALL THE SKIES ARE GRAY: BALLIN' GEAR'S COO RELEASED FROM JOB, REPLACEMENT HIRED (12/11) In a suprise move Friday, the Ballin' Gear executive board voted to immediatley remove Jassen Gray as COO of the company. While no official press release was issued regarding the lineup change, it was made public knowledge that Mr. Gray did have a challenge with tardies. "The company's executive board gave him a warning after he had accumulated 4 or 5 tardies-- one more and you're out." said Mr. Hayes. The search began immediatley on Monday morning when two candidates, Calvin Weaver and Erica Gray threw their hats into the ring to try and claim the job.Both were allowed to make a statement on why they were the best person for the job and were asked a few questions each by the company executives. After a public reading of both candidates attendance record for the second quarter and the number of missed assignments, the company employees voted their recommendation to the executive board in a secret ballot. The board went into private deliberations later that morning and came back with their decision: Erica Gray. Ms. Gray (no relation to Mr. Gray) will start at her new job Tuesday morning, just as soon as Mr. Gray removes his things from his office. |
BREAKING NEWS: WALLINGTON, FORMER BG SPOKESPERSON ALLEGEDLY ENGAGED IN GAMBLING (12/18) During second block today Martin Wallington, CEO of Ballin' Gear was seen being escorted to the office by Office Blackmon along with a former Ballin' Gear spokesperson. When asked about the incident, official sources confirmed the two were taken to the office after it was suspected they were gambling in art class. While the former spokesperson's name was not released, Wallington was quoted as saying "I didn't do it." The money (estimated to be within between two and nine dollars) was generously donated to the homeless family fund by Mr. Wallington. Each person who was allegedly invovled recieved one day in PEAK. The executive board of Ballin' Gear has not yet released an official statement regarding this incident. |
