My First Publication!

When majoring in Journalism, you are required to take Jour 201: Writing and Reporting I. This course teaches you all the basics in Journalism. It's a 6 credit course that's a year long. In order to pass the course, you need to get published in either a daily newspaper or one of the 3 campus newspapers (The Link, The Concordian and The Thursday Report). On March 8th 2000, I was published for the first time! I managed to get my first ever publication in Volume 17 Issue 21 of The Concordian! I did a story on the 16th Annual Bridge Building Competition that took place at the University. Here is a scan of the article.
