Weekly Science Current Events Homework

Welcome to Science Current Events class!  In this class we will discuss current news items as they relate to Science.  Students will engage in group and class discussions.  Throughout the year students will keep an organized Science Current Events scrapbook by collecting articles, news stories, magazine articles, pictures, etc. Every week students are required to bring an article to Science Current Events class. You can use any of the following resources below. You may place the article in your scrapbook and write a brief reflection. Your brief reflection should include the main idea of the article and why you think it is important or interesting. Be sure to include the name of your resource, title of the article, date and author of the article. Scrapbooks will be collected every two weeks. Students will be graded on content, creativity and presentation.
