THE EASTER REGATTA

This annual event has developed into one of the greatest aquatic carnivals in Australia, with a distribution of £400 in prize money.

Sailing craft include 6ft. dinghies, 12,14 and 16ft skiffs, also 18 footers.

The "Arawatta", "H.C. Press", "Australia", "Keriki" and "Pastime" are among the competitors.

Speed motor boats also have a share in the proceedings.

The attendance accounts for 3 or 4 thousand spectators among which are numbered some hundreds of visitors from Sydney and Queensland.

The two day's events are held at the historic settlement farm and are controlled by officials from the Sydney Flying Squadron
