Placement Tests are designed to place students in the appropriate class based on their mathematical abilities. Exit exams for NMC's developmental math courses MA090 Pre-Algebra and MA091 Beginning Algebra were implemented in the Spring of 2004 in an effort to standardize pedagogy and ensure that instructional goals and student learning outcomes were being met.
