KENT -- A man convicted in the shooting of an Auburn police dog in July has been sentenced to more than four years in prison. 24-year-old Joel Seeber-Voyles of Sumner apologized in King County Superior Court at his sentencing Friday.
He says he fired because he was terrified when the dog attacked during after a police chase. The dog was wearing a bulletproof vest and survived. Seeber-Voyles was scarred over much of his body and lost hearing in one ear.
