EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 2009: THE PAPERBACK TRADING HANDLING FEE WILL INCREASE TO $1.00 PER TRADE. |
|
|
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
- Paperback books only. - We charge a $0.75 handling fee for each paperback you trade in. - We will issue you a credit equal to half of the cover price of your paperback. - Your credit can only be used for the same category. - There is a maximum credit of $4.00 per book.
That's it !! If you trade in 2 books, it costs you $1.50; if you trade in 10 books, it costs you $7.50. You must pay the handling fee the day the credit is issued, but you are not required to use all of your credit that day; you may bring it back with you on your next visit & we will honor the balance for the next 60 days. Remember that you may only trade for similar categories: mystery trades for mystery, western trades for western, etc. |

In order to better understand how our trading policy works, allow us to outline a few points about our store.
- Our books are organized by category & then alphabetized by author. - We do not have a computerized inventory or a database of titles; books come & go everyday. - We only trade paperback books in good condition. Your credit is only valid for used paperbacks. - In order to retain a balance in our inventory, you may only trade for paperbacks of the same category. - Our paperbacks on the shelves are marked at half of the original cover price. - The handling fee cannot be deducted from your credit. This nominal fee is how we are able to continue to keep our trading policy going. |
