Well people, I'm back. It occurred to me that after it's been a month, and about 60 people come back every day to see nothing new, that you guys obviously want to see a new comic. You got it. I haven't yet figured out if I'm going to end it at 150, or just go on until I end it elsewhere (Perhaps 200). Either way, I plan to end it soon. I've always told authors out there, that if you're not having fun with it, you shouldn't do it. Sure, I'm having fun with it a little, but it's already gotten old for me. The fun time creating comics I once had has turned into a greed, infested mind wanting to be #1 on the Top Web Comics. I will end it soon, but because you guys wanted comics badly, I have no choice but to continue ;) . Right, I bet you guys are wondering why I have been gone for a month. Funny thing, I took a week break after my last update, and my computer caught a virus. I received my computer again 2 days ago. That's right, everything that I had of Ruby Red is now gone. I had to work myself to death trying to create today's comics with an old back up disc (Yes, I know I should have created a more recent one, but it's too late for that now). So, let's hope we're back on track here until Ruby Red ends. Why the sudden interest to update, I realized while talking to numerous comic authors, that I should update. If you've looked at the main page, I took out the Imposter Author's Quotes. From my point of view, it seemed like I WAS copying Bob and George, and I want to settle for original here, so lets keep it that way. As for comments in my e-mail and guestbook about me saying that if you guys don't vote I'd stop making comics, I'd like to apologize. Seriously though, I couldn't think of a nicer way to ask whether you guys wanted more comics or not. Many people have complained that the site is "gay" (why they don't bring up Queenie is a question I'd like to ask them!), that it just plain childish. I'd like to remind everyone here that this is an E rating comic (probably the ONLY E rated comic out there) and that I like to stray away from curse words (Lets skip the gay and queer jokes and the beer for a few minutes here). Other than the fact that I have a gay villain on my show, it should show no offense to anyone. Well, I certainly have had a lengthy update. I'd like to apologize to the affiliates, you can take my link off if you wish, but I plan to keep what I have here. If you do take the link off, I'd surely appreciate if you just add me anywhere on your site. Right, now to the thanks yous. First, I'd liked to thank my longest affiliate I've had, Mega Comix. They may have closed down, but perhaps the author's career in other stuff will work out. Thanks you. The Adventures of the Blue Bomber, good luck for you guys. You held your site even when no new comic appeared after several months. Your inspiration and experience with other languages other than English will stay with me forever. Nyte's Sprite Center, thanks for doing the custom Erifder's. Not that you should stop doing them, heh. Game Jumpers supported Ruby Red well, for I am still linked as his first affiliate (At least for the time being). Final Fantasy Excursions, I still envy your fan support (as well as Life of Wily's), but our friendship worked well. Whenever I was in a jam, you'd help me with your guidance, thanks. That's My Sonic, well.../Ultra Freak Comics, I tried my best to support your comic, may your comics grow in numbers. Vipor Scar, good luck to you, friend. Inkspot Comics, ah yes, another popular one. I will miss our quarrels over who's comic is better Kris :P. Well, I think I've bored you fans, so I'm going to let you go. Until then true believers... |
