Deb grew up in Hayward, WI and has been playing violin since the age of 8. She graduated from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN with an associate degree in arts and Bible with specializations in children's ministries and music. That same year she married a cellist and together they perform with the Sterling Strings quartet and the Northeast Orchestra. Deb is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She has continued her training (through Book 3) at the American Suzuki Institute in Stevens Point, WI.
