Flagg, Fannie Fried Green Tomatoes, Everything in the movie and more. This tells the story of Ruth and Idgie, except with a more explicit explanation of their relationship. It's a fast read.

Giles, Fiona Dick for a Day, A collection of works focused on what women authors would do if they had a "dick for a day".

Heger, Heinz The Men with the Pink Triangle, A truly touching story of a gay man's experience in the Holocaust. This is the only book written by a gay Holocaust survivor about his experiences.
