Language Camp in Kassel
After only being in Germany for 3 days...I had to go to Kassel, a city 40min north of my town Stadtallendorf, for a 2 week language camp.  All of the exchange students in this district (D. 1820) who arrived in January were there.  Students from all over the world...in a classroom together...to learn Deutsch? That was the intended purpose!!!  4 Australians, 4 Brasilians, 3 Argentinians, 1 New Zealander, 1 Columbian, and 1 Sth. African!!!
26/01/03 - 09/02/03
All the exchange students at the museum...(L-R), back row: Soledad (Arg), Bohdan (Aus), Livia (Aus), Tiago (Bra), Victoria (Arg), Carolina (Arg), Piet (SthA), Nina (Col), Gary (USA-not exchange student), Danilo (Bra).  Front Row: Sarah-Jane (N.Z), Danielle (Aus), Ana Luiza (Bra), Luciana (Bra), and ME - Erin (AUS).
Me in front of the Europa College...at 7:45am...Quite a bit of snow...but it was cold!
Sledding - Carl and I ready to go down the hill...lucky there's no photo of me falling off!
Sledding at Wilhelmshöhe...Carl and Sabine (my host brother and mum)!!!  Looking a bit cold!!!  It was -6°c
This is the Löwenberg (Lion Castle) on Wilhelmshöhe.
We had an excursion to Marburg (my base town)...this is the Rathaus (town hall).
This is a model of the Schloß (Castle) over looking Marburg.
This is a half decent photo of me in the museum, which is inside the Schloß...you actually can't see much of the original castle inside...it has been renovated.
