The Australian Erin O'Shea gets to know the Land and People as a Rotary Club exchange student

Stadtallendorf.  Yesterday Mayor Manfred Vollmer welcomed the Exchange Student Erin O'Shea at Town Hall.  She is an exchange guest by the Stadtallendorfer Family Steioff. Until May the 17 year-old Erin O'Shea stays with the Steioff's in Stadtallendorf.  Then she alternates in any of, three host families all up, in Marburg. The next part is too hard for me to translate...and I am too tired...so I will give you the general drift of as much as I can... It talks about how the year in Germany came about...and that I would have loved a year in Canada...and how the Rotary Youth Exchange system functions...and how a country is decided on. Steioffs daughter Annegret is in Argentina.  Therefore Sabine Steioff is especially glad about Erin O'Shea's visit.  Sabine talking about having 'withdraweral symptoms' or missing her daughter.  A quote from me ``the people in Germany are so friendly.´´
