These are not just my personal opinion. Very many players complain about people over-doing their shops, especially people who have slower modems. Personally, I won't shop in an over done store. At least 90% of players that go to your shop find it on the Shop Wizard because they are looking for a specific item. Remember people are there to buy an item not to listen to music or look at your fancy background.

Note: Just because a person says on the message boards that they have the cheapest prices on the wiz doesn't mean it's true, and it's usually not. If they do have the cheapest prices on the wiz then they don't need to advertise since people will automatically go there from the wiz. Only items such as Battle Dome weapons and rare Healing Potions would need to be advertised like that since they wouldn't be looked up as much ass a Negg or Codestone.

Scam: Now some people are neomailing other players and saying that they have Faeries and Codestones in their shop for 500np. When you get to their shop and click on the item it takes you to a fake login screen. Do Not fill in your name and password becuase it is actually a feedback form set up to send your user information to that person so they can steal your account. Right away report to the Neopets Staff about this person!
