My final year with the Patriots  was my last year playing for the Varsity squad along with 5 other girls whom I've had the priveledge to know better over the four years.  In '99 we had a stellar season with a GREAT win over the Cranston East, and boy did that one feel good.  We were playing with a strong group of seniors, that wern't goign to let anything get in their way.  Wth the loss of "the Bairds" and the almighty "Almeida", we had a lot to make up for.  We pulled our way to the semi finals once again to gain a win over undefeated Ponagansett and then advanced to the finals to play another rival of ours, La Salle.  The outcome of this game could have went either ways.  It came down to a corner kick from Nikki Crupcalla to Lannie Hathaway which deflected off of the La Salle keeper and into the goal.

Wrapping up the four years I've had with this team, I personally walked away with a better knowing of the game, and myself.  If it wasn't for the great family in which I grew up with, my High School soccer career wouldn't have been all that it was.

Melissa, Kris, Christina, Meryle, and Casey - make the next four years in college the greatest.
oh yea - you too

These are some pictures from when we went to Maryland to play Johns Hopkins and Loyola in Pennsylvania.  We stopped in DC to check out the area on one of our days off.  We also stopped at Jay's house to have dinner one night....and we found some funny pictures of the guy in his old room.
