The plants bear  trumpet-shaped flowers along strong long stalks in the summer and color  range form white to lavender. These blooms attract butterflies and  hummingbirds to there sweet nectar.

General Care and Growing

Good drainage is recommended mainly in the winter.  Although most Hosta thrive in all shade ,a few like and need some sun only  a hr or 2 to keep the color of the leaves true in blue and variegated  Hosta. Remove flowers to improve foliage and prevent cross- pollination.  Divide Plants in early spring and late fall. Protect these plants if you    have a deer problem because deer love to eat the leaves of these plants.
